Black Cherry Fair – 8th July, Chertsey


The 560th Black Cherry Fair will be held on Saturday 8th July, opening with an open air music event and bar on the evening of Friday 7th July.

 

The theme for the procession and children's fancy dress competition is 'Myths & Legends' with a 'Medieval' theme on the field.  At 10.30am the procession proceeds through the town so please come along and join in the atmosphere of the day.

 

Once the procession reaches Abbey Field MP Mr Philip Hammond will officially open the fair at 11.30am accompanied by the Black Cherry Fair Princesses. There will be live music and arena events all afternoon with over 100 stalls selling a variety of merchandise as well as a fair ground. Visit www.blackcherryfair.com for further info.

Springtime Nursery School

Sports & Fun Day – 8th July, Staines

 

Springtime Nursery School is inviting local families to come along their Sports and Fun Day on Saturday 8 July from 12 noon.  Funds raised will go to help their charity “Primavara in Romania” to help abandoned children.  Springtime Nursery School, Thorpe Road, Staines, Middlesex TW18 3HD  Tel: 01784 464316

Teddy Bears Picnic Weekend – 15 & 16 July, Knaphill

July 15 & 16, Midday to 5pm

 

Mizens Miniature Railways Teddy Bears Picnic from Midday to 5pm will be offering Train Rides and much more. Children ride free Saturday Afternoon (One child ticket with every adult ticket purchased).  One free pot of honey for every child on Sunday afternoon.  Please come and bring a PICNIC to enjoy in our picnic area.

Jo Jingles 10th Anniversary Bash – 15th July, Staines


0n Saturday 15th July from
10am-12noon, Jo Jingles will be celebrating its 10th anniversary by throwing a children’s party at the Hythe Centre, Thorpe Road, Staines.

 

The party will feature music, dancing, musical instruments, face painting and various stalls and activities too numerous to mention.  A photographer will be on site offering a free sitting for those lovely portraits. A life size version of the Jo Jingles mascot, Big Jo, will be there to cut his cake and join in with the fun!

Buggyfit comes to Shepperton on Tuesdays! - NEW

 

The latest craze for new Mums! As featured in The Mail on Sunday, Zest magazine, The Times, Top Sante & shown on ITV’s ‘This morning’, Buggyfit is the latest craze for Mums wanting to get back in shape after their new arrival. Chertsey NICU at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey is appealing for breastmilk for their neonatal unit.

 

Are you a non smoker? Is your baby under six months old? Do you have more milk than your baby needs? Are you in good general health and not on any medication?
